Depth Hypnosis Certification Programs FAQs |
What does it mean to be a Depth Hypnosis Practitioner?
Being a Depth Hypnosis Practitioner means that you have earned the most advanced and comprehensive certification that the Foundation of the Sacred Stream offers. Certification is granted only after you’ve agreed to maintain the standards and requirements set forth in the Foundation’s Code of Ethics and you must apply for annual renewal in order to maintain your certification. As a Depth Hypnosis Practitioner, you will be listed on our website and may be contacted by individuals seeking Depth Hypnosis counseling help in your geographic region.
If I apply for certification as a Depth Hypnosis Practitioner and pay the fees for certification review, can I expect automatic granting of the certification?
No, the process of review has several steps to it. If the reviewer decides that the information you have submitted for review does not meet the standards required by the review committee, you will be notified. You will be given feedback on how to improve the quality of your work and asked to resubmit new material (a detailed, written description of 10 new sessions) for a second review. A third review would not be allowed and the student would need to retake the class at the return student rate (and any other classes the reviewer deems necessary), submit new material for review, and repay the current review fee.
Can I be denied certification even if I finish all the Depth Hypnosis Practitioner Certification Course Requirements?
What does it mean to be "certified" as a hypnotherapist?
Upon completion of the coursework and requirements [hypertext], you may recieve certification as a hypnotherapist in the spiritual counseling practice of Depth Hypnosis. Once you are certified, you can advertise as a "Certified Hypnotherapist" and build a client base.
Hypnotherapy is a self-regulated, not state-licensed profession, therefore certification is determined by private boards and schools. Our training more than meets the requirements set forth by most private boards and schools, including the Professional Board of Hypnotherapy, which is an international professional organization.
