People who take the ISJ tutorial can take the regular ISJ workshop free of charge the first time. They are, however, treated like returning students, in terms of cancellations and no shows. If tutorial students cancel within two weeks or do not show for ISJ, they forfeit the opportunity to take class for free. Thereafter, they must pay the return student fee.

Note: Fees are based on the regular tuition for the class, not on payments received.
Credit may be applied to most FSS workshops, though some exceptions do apply. Credit must be used within 18 months of cancellation and is non-transferable.
If you are signing up for a class using a credit, we will ask you to confirm your wish register. Once you have confirmed, your credit is applied to the class and subject to the regular cancellation policies for that class. Until you have confirmed, you do not have a seat in the class. You are eligible for early registration discounts using credit as long as you confirm by the early registration deadline.
CEU fees paid for cancellations within 14 days of the class are forfeit.
It is a privilege to repeat classes, at the discretion of the instructor.
Repeating students must register by phone or mail. (Web registration not possible for returns.)
Dedicated space for repeating students is limited. After it is filled, a waitlist is formed. You may be put on a waitlist before the repeating student limitation is filled, if you have recently repeated a class or retaken it several times. However, most people on the wait list do get into the class.
Anyone who repeats a class pays the full repeat fee and is expected to attend the full class. The exception is the attendance of missed weekends of Depth Hypnosis, missed sessions for Depth Hypnosis Supervisory, and missed weekends of Advanced Buddhist Psychology Studies with prior approval.
Full fee to repeat DH supervisory
25% - 35% of full tuition for all else, except destination and retreat classes, where fees are determined class by class.
For multiple weekend DH you can make up a missed weekend and for DH supervisory, you can make up a missed class if you let us know at the time of registration that you will miss class and let us know in advance when you plan to make it up. Please note that if you only miss a portion of a weekend of Depth Hypnosis you need to pay 1/3 of the return fee to make up that weekend and the full return fee to make up the class.
No credit for no shows. CEU fees are forfeit for no shows.
Class Postponement, Cancellation, Venue Change, or Schedule Change
If we postpone/reschedule a class, people can get a refund if they request one within 30 days of the class being rescheduled. After that, it becomes a credit. If we cancel a class, refunds will be issued.
Although it would be unusual to change the venue of a class, this
may happen due to factors that are out of FSS's control. If this
happens, students will be given as much notice as possible. Although it
would be unusual to change the schedule of a class, this may happen
either due to factors that are out of FSS's control or because FSS
decides to change the hours in the class for a good reason. Such reasons
may include, but are not limited to class size. FSS may decide to run a
class with lower than targeted enrollment so as not to disappoint
students who have signed up for the class. In this case, the class hours
may be shortened. If this does happen, the content of the class will
not be altered in any way. The shorter time period for the class would
simply be a function of less time needed for fewer participants to share
their experiences.
Gift certificates can be ordered as e-certificates or a physical one can be sent with shipping and handling charges added. To redeem, must register by phone, mail, or email. (Cannot use web registration for gift certificates.)
There is a $25 charge for processing payments the same day as class.
The fee for bounced checks is $25 and any additional related fees
The instructor may ask a student to leave a class if the student is being disrespective or disruptive to that class. There will be no refund if a student is asked to leave.
Any request for an exception to the above policies should be made in writing. Such requests will only be granted in extreme cases.
