The Training Programs, Workshops, Destination Studies Programs and individual counseling sessions the Foundation of the Sacred Stream offers are all designed to help the student enter the paths that insightful healers, artists and spiritual seekers have traversed for millennia.

Each of these programs is a doorway into a deeper body of wisdom that cannot be accessed fully through any one doorway. This body of wisdom is the wisdom that all the great spiritual, mystery and artistic traditions have sought to articulate in their own ways.

Often, it is that which causes us pain or creates imbalance that becomes the first doorway to wisdom. If we can consider that whatever creates discomfort is actually a teacher, and if we are willing to see whatever keep us from expressing our gifts as a doorway to understanding, we can take our first steps on the path of deepening our authentic participation in this wisdom. The Foundation of the Sacred Stream seeks, through all of its programs, to help students along a path of understanding.

We enter this path by recognizing that we need to examine and transform ourselves in order to be able to perceive this body of wisdom more clearly. By entering through different access points, we become able to hold a wider and wider vision and realization of this deeper body of wisdom.

By remembering that there are many doorways to this body of wisdom that cannot be held all at once by any human mind, we can begin to truly participate in wisdom traditions that are still available to us today. Two of the Foundation’s training programs offer modern applications of two great and ancient wisdom traditions: Shamanism and Buddhism. All of the training programs are designed to provide paths of learning which are transformative and practical at the same time.
