"There are as many religious beliefs in the world as there are human beings. This is as it should be." - Mahatma Gandhi
Ceremonies and rituals are an ancient part of our cultural heritage. They are a common part of daily life and they mark experiences both great and small. Through ritual, we are able to manifest spirit in physical form. Rituals can ground the intention of the participants, and make their intention known to the gods, spirit, the universe, or whatever their experience is of the divine.
Today, many ceremonies are devoid of meaning. The meaning is shrouded in mystery or lost in history. Despite this, there is a way to reconnect with the deeper meaning of ritual, to set your own intentions, and to create your own connection with spirit.
At Sacred Stream, we can help you create your own ceremony or service to mark an important event. We can help you design a ceremony that reflects your unique beliefs and intentions, or we can help you take parts of your current religious tradition and turn them into something even more meaningful to you. We can then preside over the ceremony, holding the sacred space to help you manifest your intentions.
By creating rituals in this way, our ordained ministers can bring new meaning, faith, and enthusiasm to ceremony participants. Weddings, commitment ceremonies, baptisms, birthing ceremonies, funerals, and vow renewals are just some of the ceremonies that we can help you with.
All of our ministers are ordained and the services provided by them, such as marriages, are legally recognized in all fifty states.
Sacred Stream is a congregation of the Association of the Integration of the Whole Person (AIWP), a non-denominational religious organization. The AIWP was founded in 1975 and has over one thousand ordained members in service. Sacred Stream's ministers have met all of the standards set forth by both the Foundation's Code of Ethics and the AIWP. The ministers have all received extensive training in Depth Hypnosis, Applied Shamanism, and Integrated Energy Medicine, and they bring the perspectives of this work into the ministerial functions that they provide through the Foundation.
If you are interested in having one of our ordained mnisters perform a ceremony for you, please review our list of available ministers and contact them directly about your needs.
"Love of life and people is achieved through an integrated awakening of physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional processes. Life itself is a religious experience as realized in the temple of my being. I am performing a religious service when my thoughts and deeds involve an affirmation of life. My congregation is both myself and those who seek my support in striving toward an integration of the whole person." - Creed of the AIWP
