Finding Peace in Stressful Times with Khensur Rinpoche (Sacred Stream Speaker Series)

Sunday, August 28, 2022
10:00 am Pacific (up to 2 hours)

Khensur Rinpoche Thupten Tenzin returns to Sacred Stream to offer this much needed talk on finding peace during times of difficulty and conflict. He will offer insight on Buddhist perspectives and practices for dealing with stress and cultivating inner peace. And there will be plenty of time for questions and discussion.

Khensur Rhinpoche is a world-renowned scholar and teacher, currently residing in Milan, Italy. He completed his studies in Psychology, Buddhist Philosophy, Debate, Metaphysics and Monastic Discipline at Gaden Shartse Monastary, in South India, where he received the highest degree of Geshe Lharampa. In 2014, he received the high honor of being named Abbott of Gyuto Tantric Monastery by H.H. Dalai Lama, one of the most revered institutions in Tibetan Buddhism. Having finished his tenure with Gyuto, we are pleased to have him back for this special event to share his wisdom. Proceeds will go to support the building of the library for Dokhang Khangtsen at Gaden Shartse Monastery.

Please note, this event will be between one and a half to two hours in length depending on questions. Please plan accordingly.
