Both Buddhism and Christianity offer their own vision of hope to help us meet the challenges we are facing individually and collectively. They each offer a path to meaning that can help us navigate our lives and help us find purpose when it eludes us. Isa Gucciardi, Buddhist teacher and author will explore the teachings of the Four Noble Truths which reveal the anatomy of suffering and the Eight Fold Path which offers antidotes to it. Theologian, priest, and author Matthew Fox will explore the 4 Paths of Creation Spirituality and the 8 Beatitudes of Jesus and Christianity.
Together, they will compare the two traditions’ approaches to salvation and liberation. During an extensive question and answer, they will try to offer insights to help people with their own individual paths.
