Geshe Pema Dorjee: Compassion in Action

Join Geshe Pema Dorjee for an inspirational teaching on compassion and how to bring compassion into action in our daily lives. This talk includes a slide show and update on Nepal after the earthquakes of 2015. Pema Dorjee will give a firsthand account of what has been accomplished in Nepal and what still needs to be done. He will also talk about how his many humanitarian projects are helping in this distraught region.

Geshe Pema Dorjee is a well-known spiritual teacher and former head of the Children’s Village in Dharmsala. Currently, His Holiness the Dalai Lama has charged him with the restoration of a nearly extinct tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, Bodong. Geshe Pema Dorjee is a tireless humanitarian who spends all of his free time helping those in need. He teaches and lectures throughout the world solely to raise funds for his humanitarian projects, which include creating orphanages, schools, medical facilities, and community centers for the poor of Nepal, Tibet, and India.
