Southwestern College and New Earth Institute invite you to join this dynamic panel exploring the power and potential of Depth Hypnosis as a catalytic psychospiritual counseling modality rooted in Buddhist and shamanic wisdom, hypnotherapy, and transpersonal psychology. This event brings together Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D. (author, teacher, and creator of the Depth Hypnosis modality) with Joanna Adler, Psy.D. (clinical psychologist and Depth Hypnosis practitioner and teacher), Laura Chandler (executive director of the Foundation of the Sacred Stream, Depth Hypnosis practitioner, and teacher) and Juliana Sloane (Depth Hypnosis practitioner and Buddhist teacher), for a rich exploration of the modality’s applications in counseling, psychedelic integration, and spiritual care.
Together, they will reflect on the growing impact of Depth Hypnosis in the therapeutic and spiritual fields, including its role in trauma resolution, altered states integration, and the cultivation of deeper self-awareness and empowerment. The conversation will highlight Isa Gucciardi’s new book Depth Hypnosis: A Path to Healing, Power, and Transformation, co-authored with Laura Chandler, which offers an in-depth introduction to this impactful modality. The panel will also discuss a recent article published in the Journal of Psychedelic Studies examining the efficacy of Depth Hypnosis in psychedelic preparation and integration, expanding the conversation around ethical and effective support for altered state experiences.
The event will conclude with a brief experiential practice, giving attendees a direct introduction to the inner landscape accessed through Depth Hypnosis.
