Liberation and Salvation: Healing Teachings in Buddhism & Christianity (Convergence)

$35.00

Both Buddhism and Christianity offer their own vision of hope to help us meet the challenges we are facing individually and collectively. They each offer a path to meaning that can help us navigate our lives and help us find purpose when it eludes us.

Buddhist teacher and author Isa Gucciardi will explore the spirit of enlightenment through the teachings of the Four Noble Truths as well as states of mind that lead to enlightenment. She will also explore practices of liberation of oneself (mystical) and a return path to liberate others (prophetic).

Christian theologian, priest, and author Matthew Fox will deepen this teaching by exploring what we might unlearn about some of our understandings of salvation and learn how the 4 paths of Creation Spirituality and the 4 Noble Truths complement each other.

Together, they will compare the two traditions’ approaches through the mystical and prophetic calls of salvation and liberation. During an extensive question and answer, they will try to offer insights to help people with their own individual paths.
