Special Announcement: Sacred Stream Video Archival Project
Help us preserve timeless wisdom and culture and make it accessible for free to everyone with our Video Archival Project – now live thru July 18 on IndieGoGo.
The Foundation of the Sacred Stream is a small non-profit organization and school for consciousness studies in Berkeley, CA. As part of our mission, we provide a platform for artists, teachers, and thought leaders to share their ideas and insight in person at the Sacred Stream Center and online. Our Artist & Lecture series has already brought many thought leaders, artists, and healers to the Sacred Stream Center, including author and scholar, Robert Thurman, the Dalai Lama’s English translator Thupten Jinpa, spiritual teacher Matthew Fox, Enneagram scholar Helen Palmer, Grammy nominees Liz Story, Barbara Higbie, and Lisa Lynne, The Marin Chamber Singers, internationally acclaimed Sarod master Rajeev Taranath, and many more.
One of our goals is to preserve this wisdom and culture for the future, and to share these events with the world for free. Our Video Archival Project is already underway, but the costs far exceed our capacity as a small non-profit to produce and distribute. Total production and post-productions costs per 60-minute video are, on average, $5000. However, with many of our projects, we have already completed filming and just need help financing the editing and rendering before releasing them on our YouTube channel.
Our limited budget has only allowed us to produce about a tenth of the content that we have already begun. For just a few thousand dollars per project, we can continue our efforts. If you have enjoyed our free videos in the past, or think that you might benefit from them in the future, or you just want to participate in something worthwhile that helps others, you can make a big difference by making any size donation now.
Anything that you contribute to this important project – no matter how small – will go a long way to helping us meet our goal.
