Applied Buddhist Psychology 2: The Enlightened Mind

Applied Buddhist Psychology 2: The Enlightened Mind

This workshop offers practical tools for cultivating positive emotions and reducing emotional reactivity through the lens of Buddhist psychology. Participants will take a deeper look at mind training, explore how Buddhist principles can be meaningfully applied to Western life experiences, receive instruction in Vipassana meditation techniques, and learn how the Four Immeasurables—Equanimity, Lovingkindness, Compassion, and Joy—reflect the essence of the enlightened mind. By cultivating these qualities, you gain insight into the nature of the enlightened state and learn to shift emotional patterns toward greater balance and harmony.

This course is ideal for anyone seeking to change how they experience life and relationships, respond to challenges with greater freedom, and generate more loving, compassionate feelings toward themselves and others. Counseling professionals will also find these teachings valuable for their work with clients. This course is open to all—whether you are new to Buddhist practice or seeking to deepen an existing path.

What People Are Saying:

“This class has brought a great sense of peace and well-being into my life. The tools and resources I’ve learned have benefited me both personally and in my work with others. I have been able to transform my choices, patterns, responses and reactions in a way that brings more joy into my life.” – Kathy W.

“As a long-time Buddhist practitioner and meditation teacher I took this class because it was a pre-requisite to be a Depth Hypnosis Practitioner and did not expect it to yield anything new. But I should have known Isa would bring amazing new insights and ways of approaching Buddhism, psychology, and our human experience. Thank you, Isa!” – Chris C.

“All of the classes I’ve taken with Sacred Stream have taken me far beyond what felt like two-dimensional concepts. It’s amazing to have a vivid mental picture of what is behind the lack of self-responsibility that I hear from some clients. I understand what the textbooks are saying, but the energy dynamics and Buddhist concepts Isa clarifies for us take western psychology to a new level,” – Dalisia C.
