This course is designed to help you deepen your confidence and skill in the core shamanic practice of Soul Retrieval. Through guided instruction and experiential practice, you’ll expand your understanding of soul loss, learn to recognize it on multiple levels, and gain practical skills to support the retrieval process.

This course is ideal for those already on the path to becoming a shamanic practitioner, as well as anyone seeking to enhance their confidence and effectiveness in working with others. It offers hands-on guidance, direct feedback, and opportunities to explore the realms of non-ordinary reality with greater confidence and power. You’ll receive individual attention, time for inquiry, and support in integrating the wisdom that arises from the practice of Soul Retrieval.

Instructor:

Laura Chandler is the co-founder and executive director of the Foundation of the Sacred Stream, where she serves as lead instructor for many of its courses. A Depth Hypnosis Practitioner and Applied Shamanic Counselor with more than two decades of experience, she is known for her compassionate, grounded approach, which fosters a safe and insightful space for learning. Her teaching helps students deepen their practice, refine their skills, and strengthen their connection to inner wisdom.

Laura has co-written two books with Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D. – Coming to Peace and Depth Hypnosis: A Path to Healing, Power, and Transformation. She teaches and speaks nationally and internationally and maintains a private practice in San Francisco, California. Beyond her work with the foundation, Laura is also a podcast host and an award-winning singer-songwriter whose music has been featured in film and television.
