In this course, you’ll deepen your knowledge of the advanced practice of psychopomp—the sacred art of guiding and supporting souls—and gain hands-on experience in working with this profound practice.

This course provides an opportunity for students to receive support in exploring the more complex and sometimes challenging aspects of the middle world and psychopomp. In a small, supportive class setting, you’ll have ample time for practice, questions, and personalized guidance, helping you fine-tune your skills and gaining greater confidence in working with this advanced shamanic practice in a safe and well held space.

Instructor:

Laura Chandler is the co-founder and executive director of the Foundation of the Sacred Stream, where she serves as lead instructor for many of its courses. A Depth Hypnosis Practitioner and Applied Shamanic Counselor with more than two decades of experience, she is known for her compassionate, grounded approach, which fosters a safe and insightful space for learning. Her teaching helps students deepen their practice, refine their skills, and strengthen their connection to inner wisdom.

Laura has co-written two books with Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D. – Coming to Peace and Depth Hypnosis: A Path to Healing, Power, and Transformation. She teaches and speaks nationally and internationally and maintains a private practice in San Francisco, California. Beyond her work with the foundation, Laura is also a podcast host and an award-winning singer-songwriter whose music has been featured in film and television.
